Whitecross Street Party a great success

Principal organiser, St Luke’s Community Centre,  has declared the seventh Whitecross Street Party, held last weekend,  a great success, with a fantastic community turnout, a family-friendly atmosphere and great weather making it a day to remember. The annual one-day event is an important showcasing platform for performances and creations from people of all ages, local community groups and creative organisations. New Central Street Café officially opened.

Situated in the heart of the EC1 Area of south Islington, the Central Street Café not only boasts an extensive delicious and healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner menu but it offers something truly special – all the profits of every drink, salad and piece of cake sold will go towards funding meals for the local community.
