The iconic Smiths of Smithfield on Charterhouse Street and opposite the north side of the meat market has been undergoing a major refurbishment programme.  It has now re-opened its four floors of restaurants and bars – ranging from the casual ground floor Café and Bar to the more formal top floor gourmet restaurant and terrace. Bird’s summer menu and Spritz garden

Bird of Smithfield’s relatively new Head Chef, Tommy Boland, has now been successfully cooking there since October 2016. He has a strong background of working at Michelin starred restaurants and this is reflected in his delightful dishes. A Breakfast at Bird

Cocktail Trading Company Smithfield to open in Long Lane

Following the success of The Cocktail Trading Company in Oxford Circus, the award winning team of bartenders, Andy Mil, Olly Brading and Elliot Ball are opening a second venue, The Cocktail Trading Company Smithfield, launching on 12th October.  The new cocktail bar will be located in the basement of the already popular all-day modern restaurant and bar, Ask For Janice.  CTC Smithfield proposes to bring the hustle and bustle of the area's much loved market place from the outside in. Review: Club Gascon, West Smithfield
