Dementia reduction board game events

St Luke’s Community Centre on Central Street, has recently launched a ‘Board Game Café’ which is supported by its long term partner, City lawyers, Hogan Lovells. Volunteers from Hogan Lovells are hosting a Board Game Café social event once a month at St Luke's community centre. Volunteers will serve tea/coffee and cake to members and actively encourage them to participate in the board games. Each of the games have been specifically designed to help reduce the signs of dementia and improve brain and memory capacity. Some are also beneficial for practising key motor skills.
