Temper in the City

Unfortunately we missed the opening of this, the second Temper restaurant, following the huge success of the first in Soho.  The new one is in Angel Court within spitting distance (well almost) of the Bank of England in the heart of the City and opened mid-summer.  Temper is the brainchild of chef Neil Rankin, noted for his Smokehouse BBQ restaurants.  Neil is said to have pioneered London’s high end barbecue scene and is well known for his experimental use of bold flavours, drawing on global influences. Ned Hotel – 5* and Nine restaurants/bars at Bank

London-based Soho House & Co and New York’s Sydell Group have joined forces to create The Ned: a five star hotel with a collection of restaurants, members’ club and spa in the City of London, close to Bank Station and opposite the Coq d’Argent restaurant. Set in a former Midland Bank building, The Ned was designed by Sir Edwin 'Ned' Lutyens in 1924.
