Give and take day 13 July

City of London Recycling Events

Having a clear out? Give and take days are an exchange event where you can get rid of household items you no longer want but are too good to throw away. Items are then offered for free to anyone who would like them enabling them to be reused by others.

How the event works

Drop off your unwanted items between 10am-12noon.Unfortunately we are unable to accept donations after this time.

Bring good quality items such as;

Books, DVDs and CDs

Children’s toys

Furniture and soft furnishings like cushions and curtains

Clothes, shoes and accessories

Kitchenware such as pots, pans, crockery, utensils

Bric-a-brac

Small electrical items such as hair dryers, hoovers, toasters, CD players*

*Small electrical items will be safety tested on the day.

City residents can pick up items between 1pm-3pm, please bring proof of address. Non-City residents are welcome to pick up items between 2pm-3pm.
